Too often, we assume that
missionaries don't struggle
in their relationship
with God. This, however, is
one of their primary struggles.
Pray for the these needs:

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
- Loving and studying God's Word
- Strong prayer life
- Filled with the Holy Spirit
- Maturing spiritually
- Progress over personal sin
|

MONDAY
|
Satan often discourages us through
our physical and emotional selves.
Missionaries often live in difficult
climates, lead busy schedules and deal
with discouragement, lonliness and
depression. Pray for these:
occur.

PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS
- Adaptation to climate
- Health in the midst of disease
- Safety in danger
- Victory over lonliness, etc.

TUESDAY
|
The pressures of ministry can affect the family.
Pray for our family, for the
salvation and spiritual growth of our
children. Pray that our family can be an
example in their society.

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS
- Husband and wife relationships
- Children and parental relationships
- Family life would be a model
|
|
WEDNESDAY
|
Learning a new language
and adapting to a new culture can at times be
frustrating. A superficial
understanding of the language is
unsufficient for communicating spiritual
truths. So, pray that we can more fully
present Christ across cultures.

ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE
- Language study
- Continued improvement in fluency
- Cultural adaptation and understanding
- Communication with supporters back home
|
|
THURSDAY
|
Remember to pray for what we are actually doing:
witnessing, visiting, teaching, preaching,
counseling, etc. Ask the
Holy Spirit to empower us unto
productivity.

AN EFFECTIVE MINISTRY
- Teaching, preaching, witnessing
- Boldness, open doors
- Prepared hearts, fruitfulness
|

FRIDAY
|
We will be teamed up with
other missionaries, believers,
pastors, and evangelists. Pray that
God would keep our team relationships
strong even in the midst of different backgrounds
and personalities.

TEAM RELATIONSHIPS
- Missionary co-workers
- Church relationships back home
- National evangelists, pastors, teachers

SATURDAY
|
Expand your prayers to the
entire country. Pray for the political
situation, the government and its leaders,
visas, and freedom to preach the gospel.

FORMER SOVIET UNION
- Government -- national and local
- Political situation
- Visas, continued open door
- Outreach to cities, villages etc.
